Terms of Service
Last updated 14 September 2026
These terms apply when you use MISE. By creating an account or using the product you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a venue or company, you confirm you are allowed to.
Operator: MISE SOFTWARES, ABN 71 803 015 212, 14 Attunga Avenue, Earlwood NSW 2206, Australia. Contact: hello@trymise.io.
What the service is
MISE turns your menus into a training app for your floor staff, and provides related inventory and operations tools. You upload your menus; we generate study material, quizzes and reference cards from them, and host the app for your team.
Generated content is a draft, not a source of truth
The training material is produced automatically from what you upload. It can be wrong. It can misread a scanned page, miss an item, or state something your menu never said. You are responsible for reviewing it before your staff rely on it. This matters most for allergens, dietary claims and anything a guest could be harmed by: never treat what the app shows as a substitute for your own allergen records or your obligations under food safety law. An empty allergen field means the menu did not say, not that the dish is safe. Every item can be corrected from the admin panel, and you should correct anything that is wrong.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be able to enter into a contract in your country.
Staff accounts
You create accounts for your own staff, and you decide who gets one. You are responsible for telling your team that their learning progress is visible to their manager, and for removing accounts when someone leaves. Deleting an app deletes its staff accounts and their progress, and that cannot be undone.
Your content stays yours
Your menus, photos and venue information remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you, including sending them to the suppliers listed in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
Demos
A demo app is free and lasts fifteen days. When it expires it is deleted, together with its menus, staff accounts and progress. Demos are limited in size and in how much processing they can use. One demo per account.
Plans and payment
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe, in advance, for the period shown at checkout.
- Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
- You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
- We do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the Australian Consumer Law requires it.
Fair use
Do not use MISE to break the law, to upload content you have no right to, to try to reach another venue's data, or to attack or overload the service. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or remove features.
Liability
Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using MISE and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export what is yours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account holders by email.
